I'm graduating in June from the University of Washington iSchool and am looking for a library job back home in the SF Bay Area that allows me to think, act, work collaboratively with smart and engaged people, and serve my library community (whatever that ends up being) in the best ways I can figure out how. I currently work in reference and instruction in the main library at UW, at UW Special Collections, and at North Seattle Community College, and I'm working with an initiative of the Hokubei Hochi Foundation in partnership with UW to digitize the 100 years of back issues of a local Japanese American newspaper. I'm also a co-president of our student ALA chapter and serve as a volunteer librarian at a local senior living community. I dream of a world that is fully indexed and full-text (and -media!) searchable.
